Drury Plaza Hotel Broadview Wichita

What an amazing experience! Classic meets modern. They've managed to maintain the history of the hotel with the crown molding and pictures of past times with the fresh grays and amenities to keep up with today's times. In addition, Coziness, comfortability, and there's a "kick back" in the evening. I've never heard of a hotel offering complimentary dinner. The view was breathtaking!!! A beautiful lake where you see people canoeing. There are also jogging paths along the lake. Boy I wished we' could've stayed another night it was soo serene. For the most part, customer service was outstanding (see dislike section for the mishaps we experienced). We were pressed for time and it was raining upon check out. We called the front desk to ask for them to bring the luggage carrier. It was brought up very quickly which saved us alot of time.

The helpful smiling beautiful queen who serves breakfast helped get my positive energy going. She’s a gem. Nice bathtub, jacuzzi fitness area I did not take part in the daily kick backs with food drinks and entertainment but I enjoyed the idea that a social interaction and connection is valued here. I also didn’t eat at restaurant but I pondered on ordering room service the river in front is a nice place to sit and relax also but was too cold. Very nice

I can always tell it is a great hotel when the airline pilots like to stay there, despite it being further from the airport than many other hotels in the area. The Drury is a beautiful historic hotel. The staff were fantastic! Everyone was helpful and pleasant. The room we stayed in was recently renovated and was large and clean. The amenities were excellent. The mezzanine had a wonderful breakfast bar in the mornings and even quite an expansive evening hor d'oeuvres spread with a complimentary cocktail hour! The spa area was nice with a large swimming pool and two hottubs. One of which was outside on the terrace overlooking the Riverwalk! Great for relaxing and watching those Kansas sunsets. Access to the Riverwalk is seemless, and there is plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy. Walk across the bridge, and there is a lovely row of shopping dining and coffee shops. Overall, the Drury Plaza Hotel exceeded my expectations. I definitely will be staying there again!

The room at this hotel are amazing!! Having sleeping quarters in a different room is very handy when I have to get up to take care of baby's needs while letting the rest of the family sleep in the middle of the night. Bathroom was very spacious and had both a separate shower and a tub/shower combo so two people go get ready at the same time. Rooms were very quite, secure, and comfortable. There were extra blankets and pillows stored in the room already so we didn't have to ask. Since this hotel is downtown having a secured parking option was a very nice option. We will be back to do more exploring in the area. So very pleased with this stay!

Costello was AMAZING!! Loved his singing! So was the African American woman who worked the breakfast. She went above and beyond for everyone.
